Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal publishes original, blind double peer-reviewed research articles relevant to Agriculture and Food Sciences. Authors should use non-stereotypical language and should not use sexist, ageist or racist terminology. The length of the article should consist between 5000-7000 words including abstract (150-200 words), captions tables, references etc. Manuscript should be submitted in soft copy in MS words, 1 line-spaced typewritten with 12 font size, A-4 size of 8.5 x 11 inches with 1 inch margin on all sides. It should be prepared according to Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (latest ed.). Manuscript should consist of cover sheet with author name, co-authors, contact details, affiliations and identification of correspondence author. Plagiarism of the manuscript will be checked as per the rules defined by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. Author’s declaration that manuscript is not submitted or under consideration anywhere else must be given. Avoid underlining, bold and caps in the body of text.
Definition of Authorship
Who should be listed as an author on your scientific article?
Journal considers individuals who meet all of the following criteria to be authors:
1. Made a significant intellectual contribution to the theoretical development, system or experimental design, prototype development, and/or the analysis and interpretation of data associated with the work contained in the article.
2. Contributed to drafting the article or reviewing and/or revising it for intellectual content.
3. Approved the final version of the article as accepted for publication, including references.
Contributors who do not meet all of the above criteria may be included in the Acknowledgment section of the article. Omitting an author who contributed to your article or including a person who did not fulfill all of the above requirements is considered a breach of publishing ethics.
